I was told I was “a waste of NHS money” by Ewan Reid when I came for an eye check after 18 months instead of 24 months (having done my previous check in England privately). I had good reasons given family eye health issues and a driving test coming up. You just cannot tell patients that they are a waste of NHS money. Absolutely avoid.

Staff very helpful and friendly explaining everything in detail they make you feel at ease they have a very good team 5 stars 🌟 to them all .

Excellent service, highly recommended. Yes you can find cheaper options online but the tailored expertise and friendliness of staff within a long established community optician is well worth it. One shouldn't be lax when it comes to our vision and eye health, hence why I've been coming here for over 25 years.

I went to Brown's for an eye exam because of pain in my right eye a full exam was done and my mind was put at ease. The staff were helpful funny polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this company for your eye health.

I came in today needing nose pads replaced on my glasses. I'd tried lots of other shops before this and no one was able to do it, because the screws were a little smaller than usual, and I was getting worried that it'd not be possible to find them. But this lovely opticians not only has the screws I needed, they even did it for me for free! Thank you for such wonderful customer service, I'll be back!
